[Nevermind that Himuro is like, the very next room over. Murasakibara is lazy in his room and doesn't feel like poking his head out to speak]

That Halloween-like festival thing is going to be happening for a while. I want to go out and get candy too. And win that Crystal Candy thing. If we work together we could get it. I'll even split some of it with you.

[look how generous he is!!]

[Himuro chuckled at the text. It would be just like Atsushi not to get up and take those few steps towards his room. Splitting candy with him, truly he's so generous, and he wants to leave his room. It might be for candy, but it's still a start. He closed his book and got up to go over to Atsushi's room. He knocked on the door before he poked his head inside.]

Sure, we can go, I was interested in it too. I'll help you win the Crystal Candy prize and we can get some candy too. But we're not going to have months of candy again like that one Halloween.

[Atsushi carried so much candy to practice everyday Himuro had to stop their manager from raiding his locker and throwing his stash away.

[He picks his head up from his pillow, blinks, and then sits up fully, leaning back against his headboard.]

That was a good Halloween. [He didn't have to buy candy for so long... He saved up enough money from that to buy even more expensive, rare candies from that. He's choosing not to remember any of his team's ire at the huge amount he'd had.]

But we have to eat a lot of candy to get the most points. [Just, you know, pointing that out! Lots of candy!!] Mm, we'll probably have to get a lot of chroma for it too, but that won't be a problem.

[Part of Himuro was amazed that he ate all that candy without getting tired of it. He should have known since it was Atsushi, still to watch him eat those piles of candy was quite a sight. Then he went on to buy expensive candies it was just so much candy. There was a reason Himuro slipped in as many healthy things he could afterwards.

He wasn't a big fan of eating a lot of candy, but Atsushi really wanted that prize and he wasn't one to step down from a challenge.]

Alright, since it's Halloween I'll help you eat the candy. [ He would let Atsushi indulge for Halloween. Himuro walked inside his room and sat in his desk chair.]

How much chroma do we need? Do you know? Do we have to be in costume?

[He looks a bit surprised that Himuro's actually agreeing to this all, but his expression brightens somewhat at it anyhow.]

Hmm, I didn't read that far about it... I think we need to be in some kind of costume though, what a pain... [He hums thoughtfully and sits up more, considering this]

We could probably find matching couple costume type things pretty easily. [He says that so easily.] And probably we'll need a lot of chroma build-up anyhow, since it's a lot of candy to buy.

[It's not a bad request. Besides, it's not like him to back down from a challenge like that. He really liked that look on his face too.]

Well, I don't mind wearing a costume that's fine. What kind did you have in mind? [While he kept his cool on the outside on the inside he couldn't believe Atsushi said that so casually. He thought he would complain about wearing a costume together, not agree to it. Unless he didn't mind wearing one together, but that would make sense they have been friends for awhile. He's not gonna think about how Atsushi said couple. He has a little more self control than that.]

How did you want to build up the chroma?

pMurasakibara makes a slightly grumpy noise. Why is he the one making the decisions here!! But he shifts to sit crosslegged on the bed, resting his elbows on his knees and his chin in his hand.]

Hmm, I haven't thought that far yet. We could probably just go to the store and find the different costume types they have. A place like this probably has a ton of those types of costumes. [And surely some of them are safe for work, right??

'How' to build up chroma, though?? Hmm. He blinks slowly and eyes Himuro, before making a 'come here' gesture.]

[Cause it's his idea! Sometimes you have to put that mind to work! Not to mention he was cute when he made that grumpy sound.]

We'll be able to find a good one. Let me know when you want to go and we can pick one out together. [Since candy is on the line here. He's sure they can find some that are safe for work since he's gonna find a costume that looks good on Atsushi.

Himuro blinked back as he wondered what was going on when he walked over to join him. He took a seat next to him on the bed, ready to see what Atsushi had planned. It didn't stop his heart from beating faster at the different scenarios that wouldn't leave his mind.]

[Murasakibara shifts to lean back against the wall, pulling at Himuro's arm to follow after him. He doesn't have to really exude much force here--he trusts Himuro to trust him even as he pushes and maneuvers the slightly smaller boy's body so he can sit back against Murasakibara's, Himuro's back to his chest.

He hunches over, chin resting on Himuro's shoulder, the pleasant tingle of moonlacing sending a shiver down his spine, but it's easily ignorable.]

This is good, right? Ah, I should've brought a game... [Something handheld he could play at while curled up around Himuro like this.]

[It's true, he does trust Murasakibara that even if he's curious he knows that will work out. However, when he leans back against his chest, he can't stop his heart from beating faster. In the back of his mind he's reminded that this is how to get Chroma, but it's hard to think about when Murasakibara is so close. He did his best to keep his cool as he ignored the wave of pleasure that passed through him. Himuro nodded with a smile.]

Yes, this is good. [He chuckled softly as he leaned back against him.] What would you play? [He's glad his hair can hide the blush inching across his face.]

There's this handheld game thing that seems pretty fun. There's an idle game thing where you tap on squares and collect snacks. Ah, only virtual ones, of course...

[Disappointing!!]

There's probably some fighting games and stuff out too. I haven't really looked. I bet Minechin knows, I could probably ask him. Except that'd involve talking to him. [And he's such a butt lately, like more than usual?? Annoying.]

[Atsushi there's enough snacks in their home to make up for the virtual ones. He might have to start going through them since there's seem to be more than he remembered. It was hard to think about that with Atsushi so close behind him. He may have leaned a little closer to him and ignored the pleasurable wave of moonlacing that passed through him. He tried to convince himself that they were doing this for chroma, still he may have thought about this scenario a few times. Well, more times than he wanted to admit.]

I'm sure there is we can look for it one day. Hmm? Did something happen?

[He knew Atsushi didn't talk to many people, but he normally talked to his old friends.]

He's been... [Murasakibara pauses, huffing out a deep sigh. His expression grow briefly petulant as he presses his face against Himuro's hair, as if somehow that'll hide him from this dumb situation that's cropped up around Aomine.]

He's from earlier than most of us. Umm, timewise, I mean. I understand about the different times thing, but it's annoying. He doesn't remember any of the same stuff we do, so he's still like how he used to be. It's so annoying...

[Himuro isn't sure if the next shiver that passed through him was from the moonlace or from the fact that Atsushi had his face pressed against his hair. He had to focus or he would start to lose himself.]

Hmm, so he's like how things used to be. Have you tried talking to him about it? Have you tried telling him how things have changed?
